Deep beneath the ocean’s surface runs a mineral-rich stream of pristine glacier water known as the Thermohaline Circulation. Having travelled for nearly two thousand years in darkness, this water is a time capsule of purity, untouched by pollutants and chemicals of modern times. As the water makes its journey, it loops around the Islands of Hawaii. Here, the unique ocean geography allows for some of the world’s deepest extraction at 3,000 feet below the surface of the Pacific Ocean.
